The co-op is so thankful to all of you that committed to a whole year of yoga! We need annual support from yoga-lovers in our community to make our studio sustainable. We currently have 60 beautiful Full Spirit Community Supporters, and we can't thank you enough for being the pulse of our little yoga studio! In order to reach our goals we hope to grow that number to 100 Annual supporters, and the additional support of a few 3-Month Free Spirit Supporters.

Community Supported Yoga FAQs
Where do I get access to CSY class pricing?
In your monthly CSY email newsletter there is a link to purchase class passes at CSY pricing at the bottom. If you can’t find that email, please message us to receive the purchase link. Or you can make purchases in person at the Yoga Co-op.
DO MY CLASSES EXPIRE?
As long as you are enrolled in Community Supported Yoga, your 5, 10, and 20 class packs will not expire!
If your CSY enrollment lapses, any remaining credits will expire 2 weeks after your enrollment ends.
If you need to cancel your enrollment before the end of your 12 month commitment, classes will expire 2 weeks from cancellation.

What can get Refunded?
Annual CSY can be canceled ahead of its yearly renewal upon request but the initial cost cannot be refunded.
If you are on monthly payments, we can cancel any future payments, but will not refund any months already paid.

Why is there no discount for paying the annually instead of monthly?
Our Yoga Co-op doesn’t want those that are unable to make a lump-sum investment to pay more in the long run. Most people that are making monthly payments due to financial reasons are not required to pay more for the same service just because they are unable to make a larger upfront payment.
There are multiple people in my household, do we each need to enroll in CSY individually?
Yes, each individual that would like access to the CSY benefits is required to purchase a full CSY enrollment. This is an investment, and a commitment, but remember, each CSY comes with 1 free friend pass each month. That means each of you will have 12 classes to share with the other, a total of 24 classes, which is a $360 value if you were to each come at the drop-in rate of $15. Wow!
what does my enrollment fee go towards?
The CSY cooperative model was developed as a way to keep our Yoga Studio financially sustainable. The CSY amount based on what it costs to run our studio: use of a building, utilities, internet, software, cleaning supplies, insurance, TP, etc. The main reason to have our costs covered this way is so that more of what is paid for class passes goes directly to your teacher. In this way we value our greatest asset (Amazing yoga teachers!)
How does enrolling in CSY enhance my personal practice?
The CSY model encourages yogis to engage with yoga in several ways, but as with any discipline, it is up to the individual to make the most out of their practice.
1. Consistent Practice: The CSY becomes cost effective for attending classes if you are able to come about once a week (or a little less, because...stuff happens). Attending classes 2 or 3 times a week see even more value per class, both economically as well as qualitatively in your body and mind.
2. Personally Engaged: We ask Community Supporting Yogis what YOU want to learn. As teachers, it is important to us that students feel comfortable making requests. It helps us to develop programming, class series, workshops, or video tutorials based on the interests of your interests and needs. The added benefit, is a lot of times, people don't know what to request when given the opportunity, but we can all learn when others around us ask questions.
3. Video Tutorials: The yoga videos available on our video library offer different tips and ways to experience yoga, which you may or may not get in a weekly class. Because you have access to the video on demand, you can practice it countless times, and because we, the yoga teachers, are creating this content, you can always ask for further detail and assistance. And, as mentioned above, we want to create videos based on what YOU want to improve or bring into your personal practice.

Break this down for me, I'm trying to do the math
Here's a quick run down of how the calculations end up if you only want to know the cost of an individual class once you pay for classes in addition to the CSY enrollment.
At $8/credit, by the time you come to 35-40 classes, you have successfully broken the public rate barrier. That means if you typically come in once a week, but you are out of town for 3-4 months of the year, it is still worthwhile it to enroll with us, plus you get all the other CSY benefits--including annual class pass specials throughout the year, which reduce the cost even further.
The way most co-ops are designed, is the more you use the services, (the more you co-operate) the more you benefit! So, the more classes you come to, the more savings you see!

Can I transfer Credits from my 3 MOnth CSY?
Yes, as long as you are enrolled in Community Supported Yoga (3 month or 12 month) your credits can stay with your account! If you have a few more to use up, simply enroll in your next 3 or 12 month commitment, and you will be able to use those at any time.
If you will not be renewing after your 3 month supportership, any credits you have not used will be donated to Mental Health America 2 weeks after your enrollment lapses.

WHAT ABOUT UNLIMITED CLASSES?
The CSY enrollment is not an unlimited class pass. Many studios offer unlimited class passes to give the best deal and to keep you coming back into the studio.
It IS a good deal, especially if you are able to go to yoga 4, 5, even more times a week--and we LOVE dedicated yogis! In fact, a daily practice makes for the most consistent and effective use of yoga in body and mind. We know actually getting to a studio, or even online classes often doesn't work with everybody's schedule, and best intentions for a month of unlimited classes can often get derailed.
Our Yoga Co-op is looking for a longer-term relationship, that is asking less of you on a weekly basis, but looking for your commitment over the course of a year, even if that means not always making it to the studio. Our CSY program starts with the questions, Do you want to have yoga in your life for the next 12 months? and Do you want to have a dedicated studio space in your area that will offer yoga for the next 12 months? If the answer is yes, sign up!

HOW DO I USE MY FREE BRING-A-Friend pass?
You get 1 free pass to share with a friend each month! To use it, just have your friend sign up for class online via the schedule page. (they will need to create an account with their email, but they will not need to purchase any credits) Then, just let your teacher know that they are using your Bring-A-Friend pass, and we will put that credit on their account. You also have a Bring-A-Friend Rewards card that gets stamped each month you bring-a-friend. We can keep that at the studio for you, or just make sure you bring it with you.
