Co-op Supported Yoga Practice GOALS
The co-op’s goals to help your goals are:
  • Offer class times and styles that will help you do the amount of yoga you set out to do.
  • Send personal reminders to help connect you to your preferred yoga practice.
  • Teach classes and workshops based on your interests
  • Personalize classes and videos with content you're looking for.
  • Touch base about progress, setting intentions, and meeting your yoga goals
You’ll be asked to fill out a CSY Intake form, where we can gather your preferences and get organized on how we can best serve you, and the co-op as a whole.

CSY Update Questions and Answers

Price Change Q&A

Why can we now use the Bring-a-Friend pass for ourselves?
We really want folks to UTILIZE their Community Supportership, get to the studio, and make it worth their while. We have lots of CSY that are not using their friend pass. We also have some CSY who may only sparingly attend yoga classes. We hope this sparks people into rolling out their mat - at least once a month. We also hope this helps ensure people feel like they are getting the value of their enrollment, even if all they do is use that Karma Pass. These 12 credits will replace the Birthday Class Pass and the 4 Credits given to those who pay the annual enrollment fee, once again with the hope of creating consistency with a monthly joyful yoga class.
How will this price change affect me if I attend class about once a week?
If you use that Karma Class for yourself, and you attend class about once a week, you will still be spending roughly $30/month on yoga classes, possibly even less than before!
How will this price change affect me if I attend class about twice a week?
If you continue to attend class about twice a week, and start using your Karma Class, you’ll be paying exactly the same as you have already:
9 classes/month at $8 = $72
8 classes/month at $9 + 1 KarmaClass = $72
The beauty of the $72/mo, is that this is also the trial price of our 12 Class Pass – so you could be coming to 3 classes/week for the same price as twice/week!
What if I already come to classes 3 or more times per week?
If were attending 3 times/week with our SuperYogi Class Pass, you can keep on doing exactly that, and save at least $12/month while we trial the SuperYogi discount.
What if I barely ever attend yoga classes and I feel like I haven't taken advantage of my CSY enrollment?
We get it. Most of us have enrolled in some sort of subscription or plan that we haven’t gotten the use of, and it can be frustrating when the intention to sign up and get going doesn’t quite work out. Our hope is that by using the monthly Karma Class Pass, you won’t have the sense that anything is wasted. We feel the value of the $240/year is essentially met as soon as you use that karma credit each month.
Can I stow away the new Karma Class Passes to use up later?
No, these Karma Class credits are given 1/mo, and must be used before your next 30 days begins.
Karma is sanskrit for action, and we want this to inspire folks to take action – either to attend class or gift a class to a friend.
If I already used my Karma Class Pass for the month, can I still bring a friend?
If you used your Karma Class Pass this month for yourself, you can still bring a friend for $5 cash. (one per month)
Can I load up on $8 credits before October 1?
We ask that you limit yourself to one spare 20 Class Pass at $160.
What if I'm satisfied with the cost of yoga, and do not wish to use the Karma Class Pass?
If you’d like to leave the monthly Karma Class Pass with the studio, just let us know. We appreciate your support, and your Karma Pass funds will be used to help the Yoga Co-op thrive!

Co-op Supported Yoga Practice Q&A

What if I'm not sure what my yoga goals should be?
We can help! We'll be sending out an online form with prompts and ideas for setting intentions. If you still aren't sure, you can always ask one of your teachers.
What if my yoga goals/preferences change during my enrollment?
A lot can happen in 12 months!  We like to hear about what changes for you, so we can continue to serve you best. Sometimes this comes as unexpected injury or a job change, and sometimes we decide we want something different for ourselves, but we know yoga can be present through these changes!
What if I don't want any additional contact about classes or my personal practice?
Totally understood, you can absolutely opt out of extra contact. The reason we’d like to offer this as part of our program is because in the past when we’ve reached out to some individuals about reminders of upcoming classes they might want to attend, or specials they can sign up for, we often hear that they’re grateful to have that reminder and help them register for the things they wanted to do anyway, but either forgot or just needed that extra nudge.
What if I'm satisfied with how I practice yoga with the co-op, and I don't want any further support?
We know, some of you are more than satisfied with what we already offer, you will not be required to give any additional info or take any additional support!
However, sometimes sitting down and taking inventory and thinking about what your next year looks like is insightful -- even if you don't share your insights with us :)
