Jessica

Jessica Kohn is a founding member of the Sheboygan County Yoga Co-op.
She is known for her welcoming smile and non-judgemental approach when it comes to teaching yoga. She has been teaching in the Sheboygan community for nearly 10 years and has completed her ERYT-500 in that time. If you ask Jessica what her favorite classes are to teach she’ll tell you either yoga nidra or meditate, stretch, and restore. Her strength as a yoga teacher shines in classes that balance easy physical movement to allow you access to your inner peace. In her free time Jessica enjoys quiet time with her family, shopping at thrift stores, and she loves to cook.

Deidra

Deidra is a founding member of the Sheboygan County Yoga Co-op.
She began doing yoga in her high school years in group fitness classes at her local gym. She immediately found the peace and calmness that yoga brings to oneself something worth practicing. Throughout the years she became a Peer Health Educator at UW-Stout invested in the yoga and wellness portion to the job and graduating with a BS in Health Wellness and Fitness. A year after graduating she went back to one of her internships, a local yoga studio called Plymouth Yoga, and became certified through their teacher training program (YTT-200) in 2019. She has been teaching for the past 2 years with some time off since becoming a new mother. Today, she is Yoga Deidra and Co-Founder of SCYC!

Amongst yoga, Deidra is a mamma and wife to a beautiful little family in their home in Plymouth. She loves spending time outside, and going on adventures near and far with her loved ones.

Melissa
Melissa is a founding member of the Sheboygan County Yoga Co-op.
She began practicing yoga as a way to meet with people as well as explore movement of the body for physical health. Yoga has since grown to be a portal for healing from trauma and continued maintenance of the mind and body. She became a certified yoga teacher in 2017 from Prajna Yoga in Santa Fe, NM, but has continued study through many teachers across the globe. As both a teacher and student, Melissa uses her yoga practice to connect with place and environment, while investigating the boundaries of the body and mind.
After the work day Melissa enjoys admiring plants, playing in the water, and dancing in the kitchen.

JENNY

Jenny is a founding member of the Sheboygan County Yoga Co-op.
Jenny took her first yoga class in 2000 but didn’t dive in deep as a student until 2011, when she began her yoga teacher training through YogaFit.  She became a certified yoga instructor (200 RYT) in 2013 and has been teaching ever since.   She is also a board certified and state licensed massage therapist, and in 2014, Jenny opened The Healing Table, LLC.  Through her work, Jenny seeks to give an overall experience that leaves you feeling rejuvenated and refreshed.   Yoga has played a big role in helping her provide her nurturing therapy to others and it has made such a difference in her daily physical and mental/emotional health.   She appreciates the strength and calm yoga brings to her mind and body. In her work, Jenny integrates the two modalities emphasizing optimal alignment and compassionate self care.   Jenny enjoys offering classes to people of all ages, from toddlers to senior citizens.
In her spare time Jenny seeks out water of any kind, but especially loves swimming in Lake Michigan,  and her favorite summer pastime is to frolic in its splendor.  She also enjoys hiking/exploring, skiing and camping with her husband and two teenage daughters and spending time with extended family and friends.  She and her family make their home in Plymouth and she is thrilled to be a founding member of the Sheboygan County Yoga Co-op!

Kaitlynn
Kaitlynn is a founding member of the Sheboygan County Yoga Co-op.
Kaitlynn began practicing yoga at her campus rec center in college, but it wasn't until she traveled to India in 2008 that she began to understand the many aspects of yoga and its importance
in her life.  Inevitably, she learned it's more than a physical practice, and ultimately goes beyond a mental exercise, and now it's a whole life practice, moment to moment, and the spaces in between.
Kaitlynn likes to create class environments where students feel comfortable learning their own strengths and weaknesses, and giving students a chance to be in collective stillness. She's happy to share yoga with anyone who asks and she's excited to grow with the yoga community in Plymouth.
In her free time Kaitlynn enjoys plant life, cooking and making preserves, playing and listening to music, and spending time outside.

CHRIS
Chris began practicing yoga in 2000 at the Sports Core in Kohler.  What started out as just another physical challenge soon became so much more! She learned that yoga is a practice for not only the body, but the mind and spirit as well! As a busy wife and mom, she often felt scattered. Through the practice or yoga she became more relaxed, grounded and happy. Chris believes that all people can practice yoga and benefit from it, regardless of their age or physical ability. It can range from very physically challenging to very gentle and restorative. The physical benefits of strength, flexibility and balance are complimented with the mental and spiritual benefits of calmness, acceptance and awareness. She would love to have you join her in discovering yoga for yourself!
Chris teaches several styles of yoga including Vinyasa, Yin, Hatha, Restorative and SUP(Stand Up Paddle) yoga.
Chris lives in Plymouth with her family and enjoys spending time with her husband, children and dog at their cottage.

KATHY
Kathy Ledwith started her yoga journey with Bruce Van Dyke in West Bend and in 2014 committed to a daily yoga practice.  In 2016 she completed the 200 hour teacher training program at the YogaLoft in Sheboygan.  In her journey she has experienced many different styles of yoga.  “Some days I need restorative yoga with long led poses and some days I need a vigorous Kundalini practice.  After any practice I always feel more centered.”  Kathy also enjoys trying new recipes, gardening and recently discovered foraging.  “Weeding is more enjoyable when I know which ones to eat!”
