Restorative Yoga for the Subtle Body: Grounding Sunday July 17, 4:30-5:30pm with Kaitlynn IN STUDIO or ONLINE
Amid the whir of summer activities, it's important to take time to slow down and get grounded. Elements of subtle body that connect with feeling stable and connected stem from our feet, legs and parts of our core body. This practice will leave you feeling nourished, replenished, and give you the calm that comes when we slow down to take a breath.
July Chair Yoga Tuesday July 11am-12pm with Jenny IN STUDIO AND ONLINE
This series of 2 classes is designed for any level of yogi, but is especially helpful to those with limited mobility or those who have had a recent surgery or injury which might prevent them from easily moving from the floor to a standing position. It is also a great option for an office worker, or anyone who sits at a desk a lot and would like to introduce more movement into their day. A chair will be utilized as a means of support and assistance, and yoga poses will be modified to benefit from the use of the chair. We’ll be building gentle strength and mobility through slow movements and stretching. We’ll begin and end with a brief time of meditation to quiet the mind. Please bring a yoga mat, block and strap if you have it. If not, there are some available for use at the studio.
Space is limited to 10 people in person at this time, but it will also be offered via zoom for those wanting to practice at home. Sign Up coming soon!
